I'm just mad about Saffron.
A-Saffron's mad about me.
I'm-a just mad about Saffron.
She's just mad about me.

They call me Mellow Yellow,
Quite rightly.

Lemon meringue pie is my favorite yellow.

Good afternoon Fishy,

Buzz, damn your eyes man! I was going to do the rubber ducky song and you ruined it.

You have some very appealing yellows there Fishy.

Buzz,
Thanks for the serenade! Will you play that song in your head the rest of the day? Will you drink a MelloYellow on the way home to cook something yummy with saffron and end with Lemon Meringue Pie for dessert?

I know you cook, and well, so if you have an easy recipe for this great summery yellowy pie, please share! I don't do the culinary showdowns often, but the next time you win one.... why not make the challenge yellow foods?

Hello Karl,
I find it interesting how much color effects our reception of a season. I often ask clients about favorite seasons, moods, colors. The answers are amazingly diverse. Once a professor client answered,
"Midlife, Contemplative, Merlot"

Not too surprising ... I suggested he needed a Library!

It's just such a cheerful colour. Ruf has a yellow and green tshirt a la the Brazilian footie strip. I always smile when he wears it :)

JCake,
I think we can all use a bit of cheerful these days!
How wonderful Ruf can sport a shirt that makes you grin. That's a really fine thing.

Aunty,
Uh-OH ... not sure I remember what the Haiku theme is this week? Whatever it is, I am looking forward to the game. Sort of keeps us all in touch with the still missing Troll. And, it is fun.
You grow any of those sweet little yella pear tomatoes? That's some fine eating.

I just repainted my bathroom yellow. It's one of my favorite colors. So cheerful. These pictures are all wonderful and I miss the simplicity of chilhood summers too.

Boxer my friend, how was that desert retreat? I hope you ladies were blessed with cheerful, sunny yellow days! Is that yellow bath out on the island? No doubt it makes all who enter smile.

Sigh, I am really missing Summer this year. More than I have in a decade or so. I reckon that's a signal for me to take a real vacation soon!!!! But in the mean time, I might load up this blog with summery images :-)

I love yellow and really should buy something in that color. Shoes, a scarf. Something.

I miss childhood summers, too. What in adulthood equals the rush of anticipation of the endless possibilities of yet another summer?

Moi,
Wouldn't you love going to a great summer camp now? Ah, the sweet summer freedoms of youth! If you can buy a bit of that in yellow? Priceless!
