Very mysterious and good. The way my Usage Site describes "pulchritude" it really should describe a human being.

Don't think the Judge knows that though.

Troll.
My reference also defines as being applicable to human characteristics.
However, I have noticed the erudite-ish players enjoy extrapolation ;-)

I love it and I also love the visual you've combined with it.

Happy Haiku Monday!

Boxer,
You are a fine cheerleader any day of the week. Thanks and ditto to your Monday.

How are we, the uncreative, supposed to compete with the likes of this? It's like I'm trying to beat Tiger Woods in golf. I guess I'll just be happy with my game.

I really, really like it.

Madman,
You charmer! Such fine flattery to brighten my Monday :-)
I saw your Diane Lane worship over at Foams and it made me LOL so I am not buying your analogy.

i love this - the words lithesome and winsome are terrific together and are almost as weird as pulchritude. that mermaid is rather shrimp like....but lovely all the same. another great haiku fish.

happy HM

my entry is here

@ troll: in the dictionary i consulted it was about the physical beauty of a female. it didnt specify a species.

K9,
Thank you!
The title of that piece of art is very long, but it calls her the Koi of mermaids. Very lithesome indeed.
Happy Monday and what fun all these understandings of "pulchritude" have turned out to be :-)

great visual to go with your haiku, fishy. love it. it's very whimsical.
btw, i did read definitions of pulchritude on several online dictionary sites. i found everything from physical beauty, comeliness which does not specify any kind of sex or species to the definition which said it described the physical beauty of a female ..
