Hunting Haiku

QUEST:
Nostrils quivering,
eyes scanning left to right.There!
Bass Pro Shops Outlet.

 INDIAN LORE;

Run quiet. Swiftly.
No twig snap. No rustle. Breathe
lightly to the kill.

fountain of youth by Lucas Cranach the Elder

Ponce De Leon:

Rise forth as maidens!
Again! Shall you, bliss with me,
in youthful fountains?

GLORY SEEKERS:

Diving at Tarpon,
spring waters freeze ev'ry thought.
No bounty for fools.

ON THE SCENT:
Standing motionless,
all five senses clamoring ...
Blowfish smells supper.

All fabulous as usual, including the visuals. I think my favorite is Ponce De Leon because at my age I'm currently hunting for the fountain of youth... every day!

Happy Haiku Monday.

Excellent! The first and last have to be contenders, in my view.

Boxer,
Thanks much. Yeah ... I am on that hunt too and some days it seems I have to search harder than deLeon ever did!

Troll,
Never wrote a haiku til you taught me. I've added one so I guess your top two choices are Quest and Glory?

Oh .... per your advice, I am staying away from scorpions.
Happy Monday, so glad you taught us this game.

I liked the Indian lore, but I'd rather go to Cabelas
