Haiku Monday: Peace

Peace be with you. Cock
crows thrice before morning light.
Benediction road.

Mornings give birth to
Crowing rooster reminders
Peace be unto you.

Paradise gardens
destination seekers sow
peaceful opposites

Very nice, especially the last one. My neighbor's rooster crows more than three times every morning and one of these days, I'm going to deny him his feathers.

all very mindful of the upcoming Lenten season. I liked # 1 best -working in 4 syllable benediction is key.

Moi,
I have experienced neighboring roosters before, the really exuberant ones can be annoying.

This is true of the human variety too :-)

K9,
Yes it is mindful of Lenten lessons.
I can never decide if I best like haikus which have a very specific message or the ones with layers.
