what a fun coincidence! In the 6th picture, some may wonder why there is a devil in the picture with Nick. Thats Krampusz, and I have a PSA about him up at chickory.

Fishy, I hope Father Christmas finds you and your fishes and pond merry and bright on this eve of the eve. I enjoyed seeing these saint nicks!

Merry Christmas Chickory!
It is interesting we both have Christmas postings showing vintage art as well as vintage concepts of the lessons and blessings of this Christian celebration.

Merry Christmas Moi,
Good luck with the standing rib...
I predict success. But .... there will be sugar plums, right?

Merry Christmas to you, Blowfish and Mermaid, Fishy!

Beautiful photos. I love seeing how St.Nick is represented through the centuries and cultures.

Merry Christmas Fishy,

I like the first one best, he has that American look about him.

Hope your pond is clear, full and warm for the holiday!

Boxer,
looking forward to the Christmas movie review.
Hopefully the popcorn will be stellar too.

Karl,
full pool but possible snow or ice so cold and not clear. We will however be cozy as we " conspire as we dream by the fire".

Interesting how we went from an acutal man to a saint to a "right jolly old elf". I think I like the original.

Hope you, Mrs. Karl and, all your loves, have a joyful celebration.
