"Life in these warm southern states". I read that, and as I find myself now living in COLD PENNSYLVANIA I have to say. I'm a little bit jealous. Good luck with the blog.
Marvelous!! Terrific pics, an' a positively perfect take on the theme...very cleavah, Fishy --must sya youse onre to catch on fast! (catch--fish, hehe)
JJ...thank you. Enjoyed the Q Quiz over at your Kitchen
Troll...glad you likey!
Gypsy girl...are you feeling better?
A.B. ... It is now an art form rather than a social grace. I could use one for calligraphy once upon a time, but got too busy to maintain the skill.
Pamokc....thank you, isn't this MM game entertaining?
Aunty, those surely are kind words for this novice to the game!
Iamnot.....no spell check? Too funny, I actually did a calligraphy art piece when I was in school and yep, after hours of labor I did make a spelling error on the very last word! Misery.
Vixen..thanks for checking on the Pond Q....always nice to get a positive response. Glad you like the Santa, usually it's the kids, not Santa making the lists. Hope it's not a lump of coal or a switch for me!
Ree...thank you for joining in on the MM entertainment.
my handmade quill pen got ripped from college where I made it. Wasn't bad, either. Used it to write out a James piece, 'All good things....' Redtail hawk, probably picked from his behind by a protective sparrow, which know no fear in their watch over their community.
I miss the pen, though. Knew it wouldn't last long, but, what the hay...I made it!

You found some great pics Fishy and even got a couple of famous faces in there. Well done and happy Mute Monday.
Oh aren't you super clever. A lost art. I spent hours at the Getty Museum in LA looking at ancient books all written with Quills. A M A Z I N G.
Happy MM!
