My youngest likes oragami but he doesn't do stars as far as I know. A couple of those pics with the masses of stars are pretty impressive. I like the last one of the fish the best (even if they aren't star fish).
My nephew had a birthday yesterday and received origami paper and instructions. I just copied some of your star directions for him. NOT EASY but so beautiful and whimsical. An art I wish I knew how to do. Clever, clever and nice to see you "back".
Beautiful and clever indeed and very design worthy; would expect nothing less from you! What a great idea for the kids to do Christmas ornaments. Hmmmmm. Happy MM!
I do origami all the time. Sometimes it looks like a rock, sometimes it looks like an asteroid, most of the time it just looks like a crumpled piece of paper.
Buzz, Good for the kids, great exercise for teaching kids to conceptualize.
Boxer, Nephew will have a good time with this activity. It's great for kids to be interactive with things without screens. Hands and minds on the same task is a good thing!
Al, I will not be awarding you the Origami Peace Prize.
Pam, It is an interesting art form. Not sure I have the patience for this but I would love to lean how to do that Origami money fish!
Kym, Those pink ones are the Origami version of a bouquet of stargazer lillies.
Anna, One year, when I have the time, I am going to make Origami ornaments out of beautiful Christmas wrapping papers and use them as the package trims.
JCake, Happy Monday, one day I hope to have folding money!
Aunty, What gets really nimble is my tongue wrapping around all those scribble words when I take to trying to do this here craft.
Karl, Those asteroids you mentioned are my number one output!
I had an origami kit as a kid but I don't remember there being a star. Lots of birds, though. Stars are such a compelling shape, that's for sure! Happy Mute Monday, Fishy!

Good morning Fishy,
I do origami all the time. Sometimes it looks like a rock, sometimes it looks like an asteroid, most of the time it just looks like a crumpled piece of paper.
Great take on the topic.
