what do you think of the yellow/red bath? It's striking, even if it makes me want to order a filet-o-fish and fries.I've never seen these two colors together in a home (always retail) so I'd love to know what you think. What lovely, lovely photos!
Boxer,I think in actuality the color palette is probably terra cotta and that mustardy, frenchy yellow. I DO indeed like a big statement in a small space IF,IF,IF there are large openings and lots of light. I might just mention this is a design which is VERY adaptable to blue and white, with accent colors changing by the seasons.Actually red/yellow/blue is a very popular color combo throughout Europe. It's getting each shade correct that is the trick.
***le sigh*** This was supposed to be on our vacation plans this year; alas it is not to be. Le sigh.
Oh Fishy! How I loved Paris. Well, I knew I would love it, but I didn't expect to love it as much as I did. Have you been? Please put it on your list, if not. My favorite thing? The Tour Eiffel. Husband and I went to the top. We took the stairs. agony. Love this post. Wish I were there now. C'est la vie.
