Blowfish

Recently, one
of the bloggers was questioning why my pond mate is called "Blowfish". This got me to thinking maybe I should search for an avatar for Blowfish that was in keeping with my thinking.

Well, what a surprise!
There were
Blowfish games,
Blowfish pipes with big round bowls

Blowfish surfboards,
Blowfish bloomers for boys,
Blowfish hobbit shoes in flannel or plaid!

There was a Blowfish bicycle and,
an expandable Blowfish backpack for serious mountain climbing folks.

There were books and bands with Blowfish titles and there was an entire section of, er....unmentionables.

Well, none of these "inspirations" " are the reason my pond mate is called Blowfish.

Course if the deciding was left up to him no doubt he would choose the
Ale or worse still ,
those shorts!

I expect he does own some shoes every bit as ugly as those Hobbit shoes and we've certainly had our share of fun playing games but never the "BlowFish" game seen here!

And like all male creatures he grins at the idea of having an avatar bout something which ..... expands.

Judging by his showers he fancies himself quite the Hootie although his fav water tune is "Up the River St Laurence Looking for Florence!"

None of these are MY reasons for the Blowfish name.
Just take a look at the actual Blowfish photo
and tell me if your fella had a wiry gray beard what would you call him?

grrrerhahahahahaha! see? i was way off track. i was thinking a cross between Bond villian blowfeld and a man with a bad case of "puffy". but i get what ya mean about the beard. so!? your mate knows of your bloggin. does he read the blog? mine does not.

K9,
Blowfish knows I have a blog, and on occasion he asks me to read to him or will walk by and ask offhand what I am yappin about but, no, in general he doesn't read my blog.

And really, the thing is, I may prefer that because there is a different kind of truth and honesty which can be brought out if a blogger is actually anonymous.

Certainly in this pond, editing would have to happen more often if I thought Blowfish was reading every word for the purpose of gathering ammunition!

On the other hand, he might see my Natchez! mute monday and plan a surprise. You just never know what a Blowfish is going to do!

Bwahahaahah - that was fun to see all of the examples and then have YOUR vision.

Mine knows about mine, but didn't when I first started. Now he reads and calls me when he finds a typo or grammatical error.

I love that you call your significant other a blow fish. That is so right on so many levels.

Boxer!
Not a threat in our pond, Blowfish cannot spell. I can spell but not type so your other would bust me regularly!

Moi,
funny isn't it?
However, for the sake of peace at the pond, I will NOT be showing him today's blog!

Fishy, congratulations on facilitatin' The Strategic Blogospheric Footling Accords. The international cyber community is in yore debt, despite the amended document that reads, "for in home wear only."

The abstention of Moibabwe is noted.

Belle,
Do you think Al Gore and Jimmy Carter will be jealous of my soon to be awarded NOBEL?

P.S. The shoes are certainly allowed for in home use. Context, people, context.
