Or fancy flights. The hot air balloon reminded me of the time the Mrs and I took a trip. It was the middle of the summer and by the time we got to about 8,000 feet, we were freezing. Novices that we were we didn't bring jackets. Nice variety of travel.

Happy MM!

Hee. I have a terrible fear of flying, but I always make sure I wear high heels if I have to get on a plane. Just in case, they can become a handy dandy weapon in a cinch. One that the NTSB can't confiscate :o). Happy Mute Monday!

I have a very healthy fears of heights, so balloon rides and anything that has my feet NOT on ground is out. As for flying, I just tell myself I've entered a small room and never truly allow myself to think about hurtling 30,000 feet above the earth.

However, you've collected some truly stunning pictures. Happy MM!

I loved this take! But, like the others, I too hate heights and there's no way you'd get me in a hot air balloon, hang glider, microlite or anythings else that isnt fully enclosed. Happy MM x

All,
Well I learned a lot today! Seems like most bloggers are none too fond of air travel and other such adventures.

I have done some of these: blimp, ultralight, para-sail, kite, hot air balloon, wind surfing. Does it count if the only yellow submarine I have been in is in a theme park? I have been swimming with dolphins in the wild but wasn't really a passenger and I have sat on an ostrich..briefly...but certainly was never an ostrich jockey. I have often wondered if it were possible would I actually travel through time? Probably not but I would love to have a magic carpet, or a warrior dragon steed to see me through my battles! I would for sure go adventuring with unicorns or Pegasus or any other travel source that allows one to ride the wind. I wonder if unicorns allow stilettos?

I remember "Fear of Flying" (Erica Jong 1974), I read it 1976 on the aeroplane from Sweden to Washington DC .... but I did not not experienced any "zipless fxxxxx" ...

Like Your SF take on the subject ;-)

Fishy,

I've done parasailing and ultra-light and would LOVE to do hot-air balloon and might do the others if the opportunity came up.
